Who we are
Filthy mouths. Neat stitches.
Sew Inappropriate started with one idea: the ruder the word, the better the stitching should be.
We love the contrast. A properly filthy word in neat, raised embroidery reads like a secret joke you wear on your head: to brunch, to the pub, to your cousin's wedding if you're brave enough.
So we sew ours properly. Dense stitching, clean edges and comfy caps you'll grab every day. No cheap transfers, no peeling, no cracking.
We're a small, mouthy team in Brighton, part of the Make Chaos family of brands, and every order still gets looked at by a human before it leaves.
Not for
your nan.
Unless your nan's a legend. In which case, hi Nan.
What we stand for.
Thread, not ink
Embroidery takes longer and costs more than print. It also looks better and lasts for years. So that's what we do.
We take the piss
Out of ourselves, out of each other, out of polite society. We just don't punch down. Ever.
Checked by a human
Every order is looked over before it's packed. If something isn't right, we'll put it right. Politely, even.
